The Chamber of Commerce is an organization that serves the interests of enterprises, collecting messages related to the corporate operating environment and competitiveness and sending them to decision-makers. Luvera (Northwest Russia Fund)

Luvera is an investment fund managed by the Imatra Regional Development Company, aimed at Finnish SMEs with business interests in Russia. Luvera makes minority investments in growth-oriented SMEs in Southeast Finland which are starting or developing operations directed at Russia.

Lureco is an investment company associated with the University of Lappeenranta that operates as part of the University’s innovation system. Lureco’s focus is on spin-off companies established for the commercialization of research results. LUTES

Lappeenranta University of Technology Entrepreneurship Society (LUTES) is an entrepreneurship society at the University. LUTES aims to encourage entrepreneurs and entrepreneurially minded students to network in support of their business operation and to further process their business ideas. ProAgria South Finland

ProAgria is a national service organization that supports agricultural entrepreneurs and rural economic activity. Its experts’ special competence comprises different sectors related to the countryside: agriculture, tourism, production of foodstuffs, the horse sector, contracting, service companies, and entrepreneurship related to bioenergy. It also provides competence for special situations, such as planning new business operations, establishing an enterprise, planning of investments or launching operation. South Karelia Experts are part of ProAgria South Finland.

Saimaa University of Applied Sciences

Saimaa University of Applied Sciences, Saimia, provides international training in five fields of education: engineering, the social and health sector, business, tourism and hospitality, and fine arts. A fully English-language degree can be completed in four degree programs. In addition to daytime teaching, we offer many kinds of training for people in working life. The University of Applied Sciences has campuses at Skinnarila in Lappeenranta and in Imatra. Business Mentors Finland

Business Mentors is a national mentoring network for SMEs. The network includes more than 1,000 mentors. Mentoring is free, impartial and confidential. An entrepreneur can lean on a mentor in questions related, for instance, to growth and profitability, expansion and different strategic choices. A mentor is not a consultant, but a coach for a business.
